If the eye is too short or the cornea is not curved enough, the light rays converge behind the retina and the lens constantly works to adjust the image’s focus on the retina. This explains why after several years of effort, some people with hyperopia experience improved distance vision. This accommodating effort can however cause visual strain, especially at close range.
There are different alternatives to correct hyperopia. See the TYPES OF SURGERY that would work for you.
